Where is God in times of darkness? The pandemic might raise all sorts of questions for us.

In ‘Learning to Walk in the Dark’, New York Times bestselling author Barbara Brown Taylor explores how we might find a healthy spirituality for uncertain times. An episcopal priest who has had her share of struggles with the institutional church, she became uncomfortable with our tendency to bind up all that is good with ‘light’ and all that is evil with ‘darkness’. Instead she invites us to lay aside our fears and anxieties and explore what God might have to teach us ‘in the dark’.

Join us to chat about the book on Zoom. The first meeting will be on Friday 29 May, 11-12, discussing the Intro and Ch1. If you’d like the code to join in, get in touch! - everyone is welcome.

Copies (digital and paper) are available from online booksellers.

Join the global wave of prayer calling all Christians to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know the love and peace of Jesus Christ.
